Anne-Marie Baughn, Director of Marketing and Business Development

Marketing and Business Development for RxTrials, Inc. For over 12 years, Anne-Marie has been primarily responsible for developing and indentifying clinical research opportunities and marketing RxTrial's clinical research sites to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, and clinical research organizations.

For the past four years Anne-Marie has participated in several speaking engagements at both the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Drug Information Association annual meetings on topics such as Study Feasibility, Marketing Clinical Research Sites, Branding Clinical Research Sites, Starting-Up New Clinical Research Sites, On-Site Selection Process, and Site Performance Metrics. She has also moderated on national panel discussions on patient recruitment issues.

Previously, Anne-Marie was the Director of The Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at Georgetown University Medical Center for 12 years where she was responsible for all administrative and clinical activities related to the department. This included the oversight of the clinical trials program, the implementation of the clinical trials, and patient recruitment, budgeting, contracting, and patient retention.

Anne-Marie is a former cardiac critical care nurse. She holds both a Bachelors of Nursing degree and a Masters of Nursing in Administration degree from Georgetown University. She is also a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
